We stayed on the USS Lexington. Twice maybe. Had an amazing time. I don’t recall my sleeping quarters so they must not have been as difficult as yours. Thankfully. A few of us stayed up late for the semi private after hours unofficial tour. That’s where we really got to see some really cool stuff on that ship. A great memory for my son and me.
"Maybe I could swim back?" That sounded reasonable at the time, I'm sure.
