Not sure why, but Spaceballs never did really “get me”, I don’t want to use a word as strong as hate, but, if given the choice, I’d certainly choose “not” to watch that…

The punishment for Orion sounds like a reward: to be placed among the starts. My fav is the Martian. I forgot most of the plot but I thought to myself: living in the space AND get to grow the potatoes? YES!
